Let’s design parks for our people and planet.

Hi, I’m Bronwyn Clarke! I’m a civic designer and researcher by day, community organizer by night. As a long-time Tacoma lover, I’m running for Parks Tacoma Commissioner Pos. 3 to put my skills to use helping create more green gathering spaces in our community.

Vision & Values

Parks for All, Made
With You

Our parks should welcome everyone, fostering safety and belonging. By listening to your voice, we can keep making parks that truly reflect YOU. That’s why I’m committed to community-led design processes that involve underserved communities in every step of park planning to provide equitable access.

Parks as Community Resource Hubs

Parks can be so much more than places for recreation. They can be multi-resource spaces that serve everyone. By co-locating small businesses and social services with parks, we can create hubs for everyone to connect and access essential resources.

Parks for a Climate- Resilient Future

A just approach to climate change will always include our parks. Expanding green spaces improves air quality and reduces urban heat islands, giving relief during those days when the temperature soars. And designing for community makes sure there’s always someone to call. There’s work to be done to ensure every Tacoman has equitable access to all of this.

Help me run!

Parks Tacoma deserves leadership with vision as bold as its mission. As a young millennial, I deeply feel the urgency to design differently. I have the curiosity, experience, and imagination to level up our dreaming and our doing.

But I need your help to take this message across Tacoma. Chip in today to spread the word and help build a greener, more equitable and connected city for all!
